Description

Calling all dancers!

Artists in NYC face difficult challenges every day, as they strive to establish themselves in a constantly shifting work environment.

Cornell University’s Worker Institute is spearheading the creation of an Arts and Entertainment Worker Resource Center to support artists in New York City as they launch their careers - artists like you. The Actors Fund has partnered with Cornell University to assist them with this plan to provide access to a broad range of information and resources, and to create a space where young performers can form community and develop strategies for addressing the common challenges they face.

We could really use your help. In order to create a relevant, effective Resource Center, we need to hear from performers under the age of 35. We want to learn more about what resources would have helped you had you known about them earlier on in your career. Will you provide us with your unique perspective as a dancer in NYC, and give us input on our plans?
